DWTS Couple Profile: Shannon and Derek

The season 5 debut of Derek Hough was no typical rookie season for Derek and Jennie Garth. Derek made spectators of seven veterans of Dancing With The Stars to take a stand at fourth place overall. This, as bizarre as it may seem, was not unexpected as his sister Julianne Hough won the top prize a season earlier on her own debut. This time, the sophomore will seek to do even better with super hot model and actress Shannon Elizabeth.
Shannon is best known as the supermodel-like exchange student in American Pie. Since that blockbuster, she has been on a number of movies and TV series. But her looks also comes with smarts. In the 2007 National Heads-Up Poker Championship, Shannon took third out of sixty-four invited professionals. One has to wonder how any man can keep their mind at task with Shannon across the table.
Fortunately or unfortunately for Derek, he will need to keep Shannon to task. The self proclaimed perfectionist Shannon will be in good hands. Derek was a World under-21 Latin American Dance Champ. That was only two years ago. We will just have to see how far this couple will push each other. For Shannon and Derek, it will have to be an All-In effort.
